BridgeSouth.net Setup Instructions:

Step 1
Insert your BridgeSouth CD into your CDROM drive. The program should start automatically. If not, click Start, move the cursor to Run, then click Browse, find your CD driver (usually D:), and select the file named "cdsetup.exe", click OK.

Step 2
Click the "Install Internet Explorer 5" button in the upper right hand corner of the install window. Click Next, and proceed through the IE5 install process, and click Finish when prompted. This will restart the computer so that the IE5 install can be completed. (LEAVE CD IN THE COMPUTER UNTIL YOU HAVE FINISHED STEP 5)

Step 3
After restart, the BridgeSouth signup page will load. Click "Click here to signup", the BridgeSouth dialer will launch. You will need to enter: signup for the username, and signup for the password. Then click Properties, click Phone Book, and select a local access number from the list. Click OK, then Connect. This will dial and connect you to the registration page so that you may signup for a new account.

Step 4
Follow the online signup process (be patient while the signup screens load), entering the requested information. After you have completed the online registration you will see a confirmation page displayed. There are "Click here to close" buttons at both the top right and bottom left hand corners of the page, click one of these to close this window.

Step 5
After closing the subscriptions confirmation window, you will see a window asking you if you want to stay online or disconnect, click disconnect. You are now setup and ready to launch your new BridgeSouth Internet service. To Surf the Internet To start an Internet connection, double click on the desktop icon that says BridgeSouth. This will launch the dialer where you need to enter your username and password, then click connect.
